Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Brussels celebrated its 20th anniversary

On 15 November the Russian Centre for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Brussels celebrated its 20th anniversary.

The RCSC in Brussels is located in a complex of 19th century buildings and includes exhibition halls, a conference hall, a concert hall and a library where business and cultural events, evenings dedicated to specific themes, exhibitions and concerts are being hold. For its anniversary the Centre renovated its main building and inaugurated additional halls.

Russian language courses constitute one of the main activities of the Centre. Lessons are held in the afternoon and in the evening, as well as on Saturday morning. The RCSC also suggests individual programme lessons.

The celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Centre is in time for the key 2018 cultural event, 200 years since the birth of great Russian writer Ivan Turgenev. Throughout all the year the Centre organises multi-faceted events dedicated to life and work of the writer.
