The Play “In touch” was held in the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Brussels.
The performance is based on the documentary stories of deafblind men and women from different countries, told with the help of the colloquial, sign language and the language of the dramatic theater. The characters of the play belong to different nationalities, generations, social strata and worldviews. The play explores the emotional "roller coaster" of being a human, shows how we build our lives, and what happens when two completely different worlds encounter and unite.
Famous Russian actors - Yegor Beroev and Liza Arzamasova took part in it. The idea of creating the play came from an actor and artistic director of the Theater of Nations Evgeny Mironov.
The performance was nominated for the most prestigious Russian awards, including the Russian Theater Award Golden Mask.
The project is implemented by the Theatre of Nations and the Deaf-blind Support Foundation So-edinenie.
The play «In Touch» is a project of socio-cultural integration and rehabilitation of people with hearing and visual impairment. It unites deaf and blind and hearing people in the cultural and city spaces.
