On May 29 the Musical and Drama Concert “Motherland, far...” dedicated to Marina Tsvetaeva, Ivan Turgenev, Ivan Bunin - writers, poets who lived and worked in France, but made an invaluable contribution to Russian literature took place in the Russian Center in Brussels.
That was a bow to them who carried the love of the Russian language and the Russian land through difficult years outside the Motherland through all the vicissitudes of their destinies - a dramatic concert called by us: “Motherland, far ...”.
The event is attended by the Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation, the chief conductor and artistic director of the Academic Grand Concert Orchestra by Yu. Silantev, composer Alexander Klevitsky (Russia), theater actress (M.Gorky Moscow Art Theater, Studio Oleg Tabakov, “At Nikitsky Gate” and “Benefis”) and cinema Elena Sokolova (Russia), singer, composer, poet, Russian Ambassador, Guillaume Rath (France).
The dramatic concert consisted of fragments of three performances belonging to Elena Sokolova’s repertoire dedicated to Ivan Turgenev, Marina Tsvetaeva and Ivan Bunin.
