The Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe opened in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brussels with the demonstration of the short feature film “Bacha”.


The International Association "Renaissance Sandidzan" is the initiator of holding cultural events in the framework of the "Days of Ossetian Culture in Europe". Since 2011, more than 40 events have been held in Belgium with the support of the leadership of Ossetia, the Russian Embassy in Belgium and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brussels, including exhibitions, artists and artists' workshops, premieres of feature films and documentaries, meetings with creators and participants movies. Performances of artists and folk groups. A lot of creative meetings with European colleagues, friendly visits and round tables of the creative and scientific intelligentsia of Ossetia and European countries “Bridges of Cooperation”.

This year large-scale events are planned in several districts of Belgium. On June 19, a round table “Bridges of Cooperation” and the premiere of the short feature film “BACHA” - the story of a man with a difficult fate, who, for the sake of his ideals, did not step back, took place in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brussels. The script of the film, based on real events, was written by an Ossetian director, actor of theater and cinema, the founder of the FARN MOVIE film studio Alan Doguz.

“The fate of a person, which we will tell, show and justify, is heavy and lightweight. This is where unhappiness and complete happiness could get along in one house. And this house is Bacha,” the director says.

The main role in the film - Dilshota, a man nicknamed Bacha, is played by the theater and film actor Batraz Godzoy, familiar to TV viewers on the popular Russian TV series "Dar", "Forester", "Capercaillie" and others.
