Today, the high-society events and circled harmoniously with the sounds of music in a graceful polonaise.
The master class was given by Julia Zvyagina, a former member of the Moscow ensemble of dance studio “Contrast”. SHe is a teacher with 15 years of experience teaching rhythm and dance for children and adults.
Polonaise is a classic. A dance procession of Polish origin is called the “king of the marches” for its grace and majesty. No important solemn event could have done without it. He seemed to have been created to demonstrate their own brilliance and glory, and this deserved the special love of kings. And today this dance is an obligatory part of high society meetings, balls and weddings.
“For many years I have developed my own method of conducting classes from simple to complex. The dance begins “from the floor,” and it is necessary to show and explain in sequence: where to go (how to carry the weight); how to set foot (how the foot works); what makes the knee; how the hips work; what makes the case; how the hands dance; where the look is directed (what the head does). First, we will learn the dance steps, then we will combine them into small compositions, then we will create a drawing of the dance entirely, ”says Yulia Zvyagina.
You can continue to regret the fact that in childhood you didn’t reach the circle of ballroom dancing, or you can start sliding right now on the parquet floor, gradually making your old dreams come true.
