A big celebration was held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Brussels. The National Unity Day and the anniversary of the Centre were celebrated.
Speaking before the gala concert, Russian Ambassador to Belgium Alexander Tokovinin congratulated everyone who came on National Unity Day, and the head of the Centre Vera Bunina and the entire RCSC staff on it’s anniversary. According to the ambassador, under the leadership of Mrs. Bunina, the Centre is entering an even higher orbit. “I wish the cultural wing of the embassy, which is the RCSC, to be stronger and flap even more active,” said Tokovinin.
In turn, the head of the RCSC in Brussels, Vera Bunina, reminded the audience that the Centre’s program for the near future has a lot of interesting things. For example, on Tuesday, November 12, the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Belgium, Igor Minaev, will give a lecture in French on the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and the former head of the Russian Government Yevgeny Primakov. And on November 21, an exhibition dedicated to the Soviet artist and photographer Alexander Rodchenko will open at the RCSC.
At the gala concert, soloists of the State Television and Radio of Russia performed the famous works of foreign and Russian composers. And everything ended with Kalinka performed by soprano Daria Davydova. You can see the photos of the concert in our gallery.
