The art of Tatar dance was shown in Belgium

Ballet dancer Aisylu Mirkhafizkhan hosted an evening at the Russian Centre in Brussels. “Miss Tatar Girl 2019” demonstrated dance art of various directions, from classical ballet to Tatar and gypsy dances.

Opening the evening, the head of the RCSC Vera Bunina said that cooperation with Russian regions is a very important task. Tatarstan has a very distinctive culture, which the Russian Centrу represents in various aspects - from folk dance to an exhibition of works by the famous artist and photographer Alexander Rodchenko. This culture formed the region, but at the same time has entered the international level.

Aisylu Mirkhafizkhan from the stage of the concert hall of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture spoke about Tatar culture and traditions, danced fragments from classical ballet and ethnic dance. In addition, the Tatars of Belgium union demonstrated a film in English (with a Russian translation) about how the children of compatriots present their native culture.

And at the end of the evening, in the lobby of the exhibition hall, guests were able to participate in a folk dance master class.
