The Bulgakov cycle at the Cinema Club of the Russian Centre in Brussels continues with the film “The Flight” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Russian Exodus.
The film was premiered by Alexandra Dementieva, art critic, teacher at the Royal Academy of Arts School of Art, a multiple participant of international festivals and exhibitions in Brazil, the USA, Spain, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, Korea, Italy and other countries.
“The Flight”is a film based on several works of Mikhail Bulgakov at once. It tells about the events unfolding in 1920, at the end of the Civil War.
Later, the films " Heart of a Dog" (March-April) and "Ivan Vassilievitch: Back to the Future" (April) will also be screened at the Russian Centre as part of a filmography retrospective of the works of Mikhail Bulgakov.
