The Russian Centre in Brussels hosted a Russian language competition for the prize of the Russian Embassy to Belgium. Participants had to overcome 3 stages - written, oral and quiz.
The competition turned out to be interesting and exciting - largely due to the fact that the questions were not about the grammar or the rules of the Russian language, which everyone who studies foreign languages does not like. To find the right answer, it was essential to demonstrate general literacy and erudition.
All the participants did fine, but the absolute champion won the first place - the only one who managed to score 55 points out of 55 possible! However, none of the contestants left the Russian Centre without a memorable gift!
