The Russian Centre in Brussels held the Film Festival “Road to Victory”

The selection includes the best movies about World War II

The Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Brussels held a film festival dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, entitled "Road to Victory." Together with the Mosfilm Film Concern, we have selected for you the best films about the Second World War. These are films about bravery, courage, self-sacrifice and heroism. They are united by an idea that is more than obvious to us, the descendants of those who paid a great price for the Victory: “This should never happen again!”

The festival’s program was opened by a masterpiece of Russian cinema - the picture “They Fought for their Motherland”, based on the eponymous novel by Mikhail Sholokhov.
